~Blackness. Hatred. Pure, untamed shadows descend upon the small island of Nox Aula as a Supreme Being arrives in all his splendor. The earth beneath the island trembles as he walks, the sky screams in fear. The man moves as if a blur, seen only in the corner of the eye, and gone before you can look back.

He seems a specter of darkness as he moves through the island, searching, hunting for that which calls to all gods. His eyes dart from book to book, trinket to trinket, and talisman to talisman, but nothing seems to be the thing that calls him. He stops rushing through the island, standing alon in the center of a great row of books.~

"I sense it...it cannot be far."

~He steadies himself, looking through the walls, hunting for...~

"There you are!"

~He cries, seeing a young phoenix boy, standing alone in the temple. He rushes through the island, appearing behind the boy before he even senses his coming.~

"You thought to hide from me, didn't you, Ioshi?"

~Sitting near the altar, her arms wrapped around her knees and an open book lying on the floor in front of her, Carina frowns.~
"I came here to be alone. First the boy, now you..."
~She sighs, picking up her book and turning to face them.~
"The temple isn't to be used...ever again...to worship, so don't bother, if that's what you're after."
~She glares straight ahead, as usual--what's the point of looking at people if you have a perfect excuse not to?--and begins to leave. She stops.~
"Please, don't stay too long. I have to get a cleaning crew in here soon."

~Agahim is sent flying through the shelves of books,causing them to splinter and fly through the air like thousands of needles. A voice carries after this act of power.~

Ioshi, Come to me. I will protect you.

~With eyes of sorrow the boy vanishes.~

*note* Armaddon is not trying to claim Agahim's soul, but trying to protect it from everyone else.

~Carina screams in fury.~
"And who the fuck is going to clean up this mess?!"
~She stalks through the Library, grabbing random Phoenixes and forcing them to start cleaning up. She whirls back to Agahim.~
"You know, if you hadn't come here, I wouldn't have to rearrange the entire library..."
~Her eyes begin to glow, the sanguine shade holding nothing more than spiteful malice.~
"YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE. LEAVE!"

~Agahim laughs, dusting himself off.~

"You...dare to speak such to me?"

~In a flash Agahim is gone, laughing as he leaves, and leaving a simple warning.~

"You should watch your back, Phoenix."

~Carina throws her arm out, palm up. She closes her hand into a fist, and Methros begins to bleed.~
"To protect the enemy of our ally is to betray Aradni."

Methros sighs and shrugs off her spell and says "I am searching for that man so I can stop him and please don't interupt my quest"

~She stares, as is her wont--when you can't see, you don't need to move your head much--straight ahead.~
"As for your so-called 'quest'...I pity you."
~She smiles.~
"Those who seek power that is not theirs often find themselves dead for others seeking that same power."
