~Altin stares at the group of his fellow elders, holding the small piece of parchemtn, copied by his own hand.~

"As I have said, both Valadyr and Aradni seem to seek an alliance of sorts."

~Altin sighs.~

"We cannot be sure of the alliance, but I am not one to trust either of the nations' rulers."

"If Valadyr seeks alliance with Aradni, it is none of the Senin's concern. We are not their masters, not their foes, even if some of our ranks are."

"That might be, but we are also troubled by the fact that Dhulyn still resides in Valadyr."

~Lucia lifts her goblet as if to drink, then places it back on the table.~

"And Dhulyn alone is trouble enough for us."

"Whether or not we accept this as a move toward the eventual future, forseen by Seere, we must take action as the Elders."

~Paladine waves off the servant, bringing him another glass of hot wine.~

"We must decide whether or not to allow a union of the two newest powers, and the homes of two of the most dangerous people alive."

"But remember, one of those two does not recall who she truly is, and she emrely acts as a servant to us."

~Jynx leans forward.~

"The fact of the matter is...we may have to eliminate both threats at once, whether we want to or not."

~Lucia scoffs at the notion.~

"Why waste such energy on those lowly peons? Instead, why not simply drain every last memory out of them? leave them as nothing more than drooling imbeciles."

~She raises a hand to the imperial orbs above their heads.~

"After all, we have done so many times."

~Paladine sighs.~

"Memories are merely extensions of the inner soul...even if removed, they could return at any time. We wouldhave to completely remove the soul to destroy them, and that is out of the question."

"Let us look at this from a different point-of-view."

~Altin smiles.~

"We have two nations, both, unknowingly, home to our greatest enemies. One seems to seek alliance with the other, while that other seems to be interested in only remaining itself. We have rogue Senin attacking that nation, in response to some falsified notion of disrespect caused by Sethra's own foolishness, and her fight with Jenoine."

~Altin waits, allowing his observations to sink in.~

"Now, on the other hand, we have a great force, ready to invade our lands, at the request of The Brotherhood. A force that seems to be hell-bent on killing us, and only us."

"Perhaps, a more subtle sloution could be devised this time?"

~Jynx suggests, laying her head on her hands.~

"Maybe, we should fake the theft of an item...something so important to one of the nations, that they would do anything to get it back, even destroy the other."

~Jynx flips a small coin in the air.~

"Yes. And I have an idea as to which we should take, and where it should placed."

~Altin waves his hand over the table, causing the surface to turn into a vision of the Valadyrian throne room.~

"Valandres, King of Valadyr, is known to remain away from his throne room for days at a time. This would make it a mere walk-in-and-grab. We send you in, Jynx, to take the Crest of Govannon, Valadyr's most prized possession. Then you bring it to Lucia, who takes it to Aradni and places it in the throne room, after creating a very...big commotion.

I, meanwhile, shall take on the appearance of a Valadyrian, and take notice of the item's theft. I will spread the 'word' and incite the desire to take it back by lying about 'seeing a Dark Phoenix in the palace' and say that she held Majesty. It will be more than enough to incite the attack.

Paladine will also go to Aradni, and take on the appearance of one of the elite guard. He will 'inform' the Empress of Valadyr's intentions, and will say that a network of spies is in place for their benefit. He will continue to feed false information, daily, in order to keep the conflict moving."

"Wolf. he will smell us a mile away. Only You can actually take on the appearance and scent of another person."

"Leave the wolf, Zuri, and Methros to me."

~Jynx smiles again.~

"I can use them...after all, I am a 'Marked.' They will help me 'find' a lost person while you deal with your parts. I will have long taken them far from Aradni, when the attack begins. By that time, you will all be back here, watching from the sidelines."

~Jynx rises, bowing to the others as they all exit the chambers of the Senin. Jynx turns, peering into the shadows, then exits as well, leaving only her glass behind.~
